The Alaye-in-Council convenes to deliberate on matters of custom, land, community welfare, and inter-quarter relations. Every seat on the council represents a distinct constituency within the federation of Ayétòrò-Yewa. The council works closely with civic bodies such as CAYDOC to advance the collective good.
