Federating Quarters

Ayétòrò is a community whose identity has been shaped by the coming together of people, families and settlements with different histories, traditions and cultural experiences. Over time, these communities have developed into distinct quarters, each contributing its own heritage, values, people and traditions to the larger identity of Ayétòrò.

The federating quarters preserve the memory of the people who built, nurtured and sustained the community, while reminding present and future generations that the strength of Ayétòrò lies in unity despite diversity.

The quarter profiles below are brief heritage summaries. They are intended to be expanded and verified with oral historians, traditional leaders, elders and documented community records so that the story of each quarter is preserved accurately for future generations.
